– With Anthem Media recently acquiring a controlling interest in AXS TV, it has raised a number of questions on the future programming for the channel, including NJPW on AXS and WOW – Women of Wrestling. AXS TV has also been the broadcast home for Legacy Fighting Alliance (LFA). According to a series of tweets by AXS TV Fights broadcaster Phoenix Carnevale, tomorrow’s AXS TV Fights broadcast for LFA 76 will be the final MMA show for the network. You can check out her tweets on the subject below.

Initially, Phoenix Carnevale wrote, “This is our last MMA show. I hope you guys are watching.” When UFC fighter Lauren Murphy saw the news, she commented, “No way?!? LFA is doing their last show?!” Carnevale responded, “Yep. As of right now that’s all I know. Not sure if they’re revamping mma but this is it for AXS TV Fights.”

When 411 reached out to AXS TV for comment on the story, we received the following statement:

“Anthem hasn’t made any decisions regarding current programming.”

It’s similar to a statement made earlier by Anthem Wrestling and Impact President Ed Nordholm on the future of WOW and NJPW programming on the network. He stated the following on NJPW and WOW’s futures on AXS:

“Anthem has been public that it has not made any decisions regarding current programming. We have been long-time broadcast partners with TV Asahi for NJPW at Fight Network and hope to build on that relationship. We are in the middle of a season with WOW and about to tape another series of episodes next week, so no reason to make any decisions there in the short term. We’re looking forward to getting to know them better.”
