Elias Theodorou Says He Knows Everything About Sam Alvey

Elias Theodorou spoke with MMAjunkie about his fight with Sam Alvey at UFC Fight Night 89. Some highlights are below:

On his last fight: “(This fight is) about getting back to my winning ways. My last fight was my first loss. The silver lining with that is the fact that my opponent – my former opponent – he’s on a tear right now. He knocked out Nate Marquardt. I’m the last person in the last four or five fights he has won that took it past the first round. Even when I win or lose, it’s not going to be an easy fight. Even me, for my own fighter esteem, it’s the first time I’ve lost a round.”

On Alvey: “I think Sam Alvey is a very game opponent. He’s got more experience, he’s got 20 more fights than me. With that being said, I think there’s diminishing returns in regard to his mileage. He recently broke his jaw in training, and with that, he also has a bum knee. I’m very creepy. I know everything about everyone. I’m so creepy. I’d be the worst stalker girlfriend.”
