Manhoef, Carvalho Call Bellator 155 Fight “a Kickboxing Fight With MMA Gloves”

Melvin Manhoef and Rafael Carvalho spoke today (via MMAjunkie) about their main event fight at Bellator 155. A couple of highlights are below:

Carvalho on the fight: “It’s going to be a kickboxing fight, but with MMA gloves.”

Manhoef on being optimistic about the fight: “Yes, why not? If he wants to stand and bang with me, there’s only going to be one winner: the audience. This is what we have to do, we have to make attractive fights. I aim for that. My fighting style, I do everything to knock people out or give a great fight. So I’m glad if he wants to make a kickboxing match out of it.”

Carvalho on whether Manhoef is the perfect opponent to showcase his talents: “As a kickboxing fight, that’s how I see it.”
