Following her loss to Jessica Andrade at last night’s UFC 237 main event, former UFC women’s strawweight champion Rose Namajunas discussed her second round knockout lose to new champion Andrade in a post-fight interview with ESPN. Based on the interview and post-fight press conference, Namajunas sounds like she might be contemplating retirement. During the post-fight press conference, she also stated “I just want to do something else with my life right now.” You can check out videos of the presser, the post-fight interview, and some highlights below.

On what she remembers in the fight: “I remember, I dunno, just I know was just like whipping her butt, and I just kinda got a little mentally tired in there and it’s been such a long training camp, it’s been such a long year and it was a bit much. So I just kind of lost interest in being here.”

Rose Namajunas on what’s next for her: “I don’t know man. Going into this one, I was like this might be the last time I ever do this, but we’ll see. We’ll take it one day at a time. It’s super fun, I had a great time, so we’ll see. I don’t know.”

Rose Namajunas on how seriously she considered this is her last fight: “I think I always think that, but this time it was pretty heavy. It’s just a lot on Pat [Barry] and I’s relationship and everything. At the same time, there’s so much good that comes out of it too, so you’ve got to see the bright side in everything. It’s easy to dwell on the negative, but you’ve also got to not give yourself grey hairs either.”
