UFC on ESPN 8 Weigh-In Results: One Fighter Scratched Due to Medical Issue

The UFC held the weigh-ins yesterday for tonight’s UFC on ESPN 8 Fight Night card. The event will be headlined by a five-round heavyweight fight between former title contender Alistair Overeem (253.5 pounds) and Walt Harris (264.5 pounds). Both headlining fighters are on weight and ready to go for tonight’s bout.

One fighter has been scratched from the card at the last minute in Mike Davis. He was scheduled to face Giga Chikadze in a featherweight bout. Davis did not weigh in due to a medical issue that was not related to COVID-19 (h/t MMAWeekly). As of now, Irwin Rivera will likely replace Davis pending medical clearance and a separate weigh in.

UFC on ESPN 8 will be held later tonight at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida. The main card will be broadcast live on ESN. Prelims will be shown on ESPN and ESPN+. Here are the full weigh-in results:
