Bad Boys TV Pilot Spinoff Gets Title From NBC

Deadline.com reports that the planned TV spinoff pilot for the Bad Boys franchise for NBC has a title now. The show will be called Bad Boys for Life

The upcoming show is set to star Gabrielle Union, who reprises her role as Syd Burnett from the second film. In the show, she moves from Miami to Los Angeles and joins the LAPD as a detective after leaving the DEA. She is partnered up with Nancy McKenna, a working mom who is jealous of Syd’s more casual lifestyle when they start working together.

The pilot for the show was ordered by NBC last December. It has not yet been picked up to series. The pilot is written by Brandon Margolis and Brandon Sonnier. The series will also be produced by the films’ producer Michael Bay and Sony Pictures TV.
