Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner Submit Final Divorce Documents

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have submitted their final paperwork to get divorced, and they did so without lawyers. TMZ reports that the two submitted the final paperwork to a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge on Friday.

The former couple hired a private judge in order to get all the legalities of the divorce handled, and had Laura Wasser mediate the divorce between them. When the documents are approveds, the divorce will be backdated to October 9th. The two havce agreed to share joint physical and legal custody of their three children and will meet with a coparenting therapist on a monthly basis for at least six months.

The two did not have a prenuptial agreement, and divided their assets. The details are not in the documentation.

The two have remained close despite their split, with Garner helping Affleck go to alcohol rehab by staging an intervention for him.
