Cody Rhodes Confirmed For Role in Naked Gun Reboot

Cody Rhodes is officially confirmed to be appearing in Paramount’s upcoming Naked Gun reboot. Deadline reports that the studio has added the WWE star as well as Busta Rhymes, CCH Pounder and Liza Koshy to the reboot of the classic spoof comedy.

Rhodes had been rumored as making a cameo in the film, something that Deadline has confirmed. No word on the rest of the roles.

The four join a cast that includes Liam Neeson, Pamela Anderson, Paul Walter Hauser, Kevin Durand and Danny Huston, with Neeson playing Detective Frank Drebin, Hauser as his partner Ed, and Durand playing the villain.

Akiva Schaffer is directing the comedy, which was written by Dan Gregor, Doug Mand and Schaffer. It is set to release on July 18th, 2025.
