SDCC: New Black Adam Trailer Released, Dwayne Johnson Invades Hall H In Costume
Warner Bros. Pictures has released a new trailer for the DC Comics adaptation Black Adam after today’s presentation at the San Diego Comic-Con. The film will arrive in theaters on October 21. Dwayne Johnson, who stars in the title role, appeared in Hall H in costume to present the new trailer.
The film also stars Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone, Sarah Shahi, Marwan Kenzari, James Cusati-Moyer, Bodhi Sabongui, Mo Amer and Uli Latukefu. It was directed by Jaume Collet-Serra from a script by Adam Sztykiel, Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani.
Here’s a synopsis: Nearly 5,000 years after he was bestowed with the almighty powers of the Egyptian gods — and imprisoned just as quickly — Black Adam is freed from his earthly tomb, ready to unleash his unique form of justice on the modern world.
