411’s WWE x AAA Worlds Collide 2026 Preview

Hello Folx! Tonight we are at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois, for AAA/WWE’s Worlds Collide 2026! After a bunch of speculation on whether or not this was going to be broadcast live. And as of this writing, we still don’t know if/when it will be shown.

(Editor’s Note: We now know it is airing on YouTube on September 30th. Also, WWE and AAA did not produce match graphics for this show, so we worked with what we had.)

This is the third Worlds Collide since the WWE bought AAA last year. And we have a stacked seven, yes, seven, match card tonight! Las Tóxicas will take on Fatal Influence! Mr. Iguana will team up with La Parka, Adelicious, and Mascarita Sagrade to take on the team of The Vanity Project and Mini Abismo Negro in a Relevos Atómicos de Locura match! Dragon Lee and Jack Cartwheel will leave our jaws dropped as they face off in high-flying action!

Rey Fénix will find out who will be coming after his AAA World Cruiserweight Championship. As Axiom, Mini Vikingo, EK Prosper, and Je’Von Evans battle in a Fatal Four-Way! Speaking of Rey Fénix, he will team up with his brother Penta to take on Los Perros del Mal’s Daga and Berto!

La Catilina will have her first Reina de Reinas Championship defence as she takes on Judgment Day’s Roxanne Perez! And in our main event, CM Punk, Rey Mysterio, and El Grande Americano will take on Omos, Dominik Mysterio, and JD McDonagh in Trios action!

Mr. Iguana, La Parka, Adelicious, and Mascarita Sagrada vs. The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor, Ricky Smokes, and Myka Lockwood) and Mini Abismo Negro

This should be a fun match, in that controlled chaos sort of way. Mr. Iguana has been over with the WWE fans since the first Worlds Collide last year. And La Parka has been pushed strongly as well. A loss won’t hurt the Vanity Project, and a win helps to build La Parka and Adelicious with the WWE fans. I expect some fun spots between Vanity Project and Iguana. As well as some good high spots from Parka, Sagrada, and Negro.

All in all, this should be a fun opener that helps to set the pace for the night, and a techino team win will help get the crowd going.

Winners: Mr. Iguana, La Parka, Adelicious, and Mascarita Sagrada

Las Tóxicas (Flammer, La Hiedra, and Maravilla) vs. Fatal Influence (Jacy Jane, Fallon Henley, and Lainey Reid)

This should be an interesting match; rudo vs. rudo means that one of the teams will probably end up playing the technico role. And I’m guessing that it’s going to be Fatal Influence. They are mostly smaller than the women in Las Tóxicas. And with this match probably being used to further drive in the wedge between Flammer and La Hiedra, it makes more sense for them to be the rudos.

The match itself won’t be anything super crazy, but all six women are talented enough to put on a solid match that tells a good story. And sometimes that’s all you need. In the end, Flammer and La Hiedra will have a miscommunication leading to Fatal Influence getting the win.

Dragon Lee vs. Jack Cartwheel

And this is where things really start to get crazy. This one won’t be as crazy as the Four-Way, but both men are incredibly gifted high-flyers. So, this match is going to be filled with high spots, inventive counters, and hard strikes. Cartwheel continues to impress with every match, and this should be no exception. I hope to see him show up in NXT soon. But for now, he is killing it in AAA.

Dragon Lee has benefited a lot from the AAA purchase. It’s given him a place to show off why Rey Mysterio dubbed him the future of Lucha Libre. He has been able to put on banger after banger, and that has led to more chances on Raw. The LWO and Angel & Berto have been given new life in AAA. But it hasn’t translated to WWE success as it has for Lee and Rey Fénix

I think Carthweel will get a great showing here, taking Lee to his limit. But in the end, Lee will get the win as he continues to build momentum to a hopeful Intercontinental Championship early next year.

AAA World Cruiserweight Championship Number One Contender Fatal Four-Way
Axiom vs. Mini Vikingo vs. Je’Von Evans vs. EK Prosper

And if the last match wasn’t crazy enough, this one has four of the best cruiserweights in the world today. Anyone who has watched Raw in the last year knows how good Evans is. And if you watched SmackDown last year, you’ll know how good Axiom is. Vikingo has been tearing it up in AAA over the last year, and Prosper is making a name for himself on NXT.

Needless to say, this match will be insane, and whoever is doing the live recap, RIP your fingers. This will be the third multi-man Cruiserweight match in AAA in the past three PLEs. And if the first two were any indication, this will be just as crazy! Bodies will be flying all over the place. We will get a lot of inventive spots, and we, the fans, will be the real winners.

But as far as who wins the match? It’s a toss-up. Evans doesn’t need the win and has Money in the Bank coming up. Vikingo has had several shots lately, and Prosper is still building his name. That leaves Axiom, so I am going with Axiom for the win. His tag partner, Nathan Frazer, has been tearing it up in the AAA World Cruiserweight scene, so why not Axiom to the fray as well?

AAA Reina de Reinas Championship
Roxanne Perez vs. La Catalina

If this were still Flammer as champion, I’d say Perez has more of a shot at winning. But Catalina just won the title, and I don’t see her losing it in her first defense. So, Catalina will get the win here. But that doesn’t mean the match will be bad. While Perez has been relegated to Judgement Day pin eater, she is still an incredibly talented wrestler. And hopefully a good showing here will raise her stock in the back.

Catalina will also be looking to prove herself, as she makes her first defense. She will want to put on the best match possible to prove she deserves the opportunity. With both ladies looking to prove something, I can see this being a sleeper hit of the night. There is always the chance of Raquel or Morgan interfering or Las Tóxicas trying to get revenge.

But in the end, Catalina will find a way to rise above whatever outside shenanigans happen, and pick up her first successful defense.

Lucha Brothers (Penta & Rey Fénix) vs. Los Perros del Mal (Daga & Berto)

The Lucha Brothers reunited at Ola de Colar, teaming up with Dragon Lee to beat Los Perros del Mal. But this is their first pure tag team matchup in a while. Penta is coming off an excellent World Heavyweight Championship match. And even though he failed to win, he apparently raised his stock even further backstage. So, hopefully that means an extended Main Event run for him.

After floundering on SmackDown for the better part of last year. Rey Fénix has been killing it as AAA World Cruiserweight Champion. And he is starting to turn that momentum into more chances in the WWE.

Los Perros del Mal are coming off beating Psycho Circus for the Trios Championships, and they are starting to establish themselves as one of the top stables in AAA.

This match should be a mix of intensity, as both teams have been feuding since Los Perros returned. And a ton of classic Lucha action. Bodies will be flying, and the strikes will be brutal. And the Lucha Brothers will need to have eyes in the back of their head, because Karmen is never too far away.

Even with the numbers to their advantage, I don’t think Los Perros del Mal have a chance here, Luch Brothers will find a way to get the win after a hard-fought match.

CM Punk, Rey Mysterio, Chad Gable, and El Grande Americano vs. Omos, Dominik Mysterio, and JD McDonagh

The real question here will be if Rey is going to be cleared. After the brutal post-match attack by Omos, he has been rocking a neck brace and claiming he isn’t cleared. Going off of that, I am predicting a last-minute swap for Chad Gable. That will give the techinicos a fully healthy team, and they will need that against Omos. Dom and JD aren’t usually treated like threats on Raw. So, it will be interesting to see how they play it here.

Omos is, of course, the wild card; the big man will be able to withstand a lot, and I can see Gable taking the heat before a hot tag to Americano. That tag will be extra hot due to the history between the two men. Once enemies, now allies, fighting for the respect of Lucha against those who would tarnish it. Oh yeah, I almost forgot they also have The Straight Edge Superstar CM Punk on their side!

At this point, this feels a bit like an old-school House Show match. Some of the top technicos teaming up against the rudo group, with the intent being to have a fun match that sends the crowd home happy. And you know what? I’m all for it. JD and Dom will do their best to hide behind Omos. Omos will be able to get a lot of heat as he beats up on Gable and Americano. And then Punk comes in and clears house. In the end, the technico team will win and end a fantastic night of action on a high note.
