411’s AAA Héroes Inmortales 2026 Preview

Hello Folx! We are the Gimnasio Olímpico Juan de la Barrera in Mexico City, Mexico, for the 18th annual Héroes Inmortales! This will air over three weeks, and as usual, I will do all my predictions in one column.

I feel like they overloaded Week One this time. They could have spread it out and had two matches per week, and it would have felt more balanced. Especially with Week Two and Three only having one match each. But regardless, this is how they did it, and without further ado, let’s get into the rundown!

Week One will bring us three championship matches! Los Perros del Mal will take on La Parka, Mr. Iguana, and the returning Niño Hamburguesa! La Hiedra and Flammer take on champion La Catalina in a Triple Threat for the Reina de Reinas Championship! And in our main event of the evening, El Grande Americano has his first defense of the AAA Mega Champion, as he takes on former champion Dominik Mysterio!

Week Two brings us more championship action, as Mini Vikingo challenges AAA World Cruiserweight Champion Rey Rey Fénix! And finally, Week Three brings us a Lucha Hoss battle as Abismo Negro Jr. and El Fiscal look to finally settle their differences!

Week 1

AAA World Trios Championship

La Parka, Mr. Iguana, and Niño Hamburguesa vs. Los Perros del Mal (Dago, Ángel, and Berto)

While La Parka is getting strongly pushed, Iguana and Hamburguesa are not. And Perros need to continue to get wins to really solidify themselves as a top faction. So, I think the obvious choice is that Perros pick up the win here. The match itself should be fun, with some good action and fun comedy spots. I’m a fan of both Iguana and La Parka, so I’m looking forward to seeing both.

Angel and Berto are also highly underrated, and they should be able to bring the action and won’t look bad for interacting with the comedy spots. If anything, it will be a fun opener to get the crowd going, even with a rudo victory.

Triple Threat for the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship

La Hiedra vs. Flammer vs. La Catalina

Unfortunately, the story here is more about the breakup of Las Tóxicas, instead of La Catalina as champion. But with how they’ve gotten behind Catalina, in the end that won’t really hurt her. She has been getting looks on the main roster already, and the sky is the limit for her. LA Hiedra and Flammer have been teasing tension for the past month or so, and this could be where it finally comes to a head.

I can see both women getting in each other’s way. Breaking up pins and submissions. And then some “miscommunication” leading to Catalina getting the win. Or possibly Flammer demands Hiedra lays down for her, while Catalina is on the outside, and Hiedra refuses. No matter how it plays out, this will wne in a win for Catalina, and hopefully she can

Winner and still AAA Reina de Reinas Champion: La Catalina

AAA Mega Championship

Dominik Mysterio (with Omos and Doiran Roldán) vs. El Grande Americano

Their match from Triplemanía was an absolute banger. It was filled with drama and excitement. And while there won’t be the same drama here, because Americano is going in as the champion, I think it will still live up to the original. I do think Americano is walking out still champion; they aren’t having him lose on his first defense. I expect Los Americanos and/or Rey Mysterio to show up to help even the odds on the outside.

And I also expect this to be a bit of an end for the current run of Dominik in AAA. Let him go away and focus on Raw for now. His work in AAA has more than shown he can do more on the main roster. And a loss here will give him a good note to leave on. Americano has a lot of legs as champion while the build up a solid rudo to eventually take the title from him.

As I said, I think this match will be on par with their match at Triplemanía. Both men know how to put on big bouts like this, and I’m looking forward to seeing what they do tonight.

Winner and still AAA Mega Champion: El Grande Americano

Week 2

AAA World Cruiserweight Championship

Mini Vikingo vs. Rey Fénix

Fénix has been on a tear as champion, putting on banger after banger, after banger.and it hopefully has raised his stock on the main roster. He deserves to be in the United States Championship scene at the very least. Vikingo has also been on a tear; he has been a highlight of every show he has been on, and the fact that he is so young means he only has room to get even better.

This may be the match of the event; both men work well together and are always going 100 mph. I do think this might be the right time to give Vikingo the belt. Fénix has done well as champion, and it’s time for him to focus on his WWE work. If Vikingo loses, it becomes a question of where he goes now. He has had several opportunities for the Cruiserweight Championship, and another loss could diminish his popularity.

Winner and new AAA World Cruiserweight Champion: Mini Vikingo

Week 3

El FIscal vs. Abismo Negro Jr.

This match is an interesting one. El Fiscal is the son of the original Abismo Negro, but when the original Abismo Negro passed away, he was too young to start wrestling. And that’s how we got Abismo Negro Jr. Negro Jr. and Los Vipers have been interfering in Fiscal’s matches for weeks now, pushing Fiscal to his breaking point.

So, we have a match between the son of Abismo Negro and the person who took on the Abismo Negro mask. This may be a sleeper hit of the show. Both men are talented luchadores, and there is some deep-seated drama and storytelling behind the match. It’s not often you can put 17 years of family drama into a match. But with the way gimmicks and masks work in Lucha, that is what we are getting. I could see this feud leading to a lucha de apuestas match between the two.

And since this is the beginning of the feud, and Negro has Los Vipers with him, I am calling this one for Negro.

Winner: Abismo Negro
