411’s AAA Héroes Inmortales XVII Preview
Hello folx and welcome to 411’s AAA Héroes Inmortales XVII Preview! AAA is at the Gimnasio Olimpico Juan de la Barrera in Mexico City, Mexico, tonight. This is the 17th Héroes Inmortales, it is held annually in honor of AAA founder, Antonio Peña. There wasn’t any announcement regarding where we can watch this outside of Mexico. But we do four championship matches and a Relevos Atómicos De Locura showcase! Hopefully, this will be on the AAA YouTube, if not live, then within the next few days.
Relevos Atómicos De Locura match
Niño Hamburguesa, Pimpinela Escarlata, Mascarita Sagrada, and Lady Shani vs Dalys, Mini Abismo Negro, Taurus, and Abismo Negro Jr.

These matches are a traditional 4 vs 4 match. The teams consist of one male wrestler, one female wrestler, an exótico, and a mini luchador. These have been a staple opener for AAA magno events, and this one should be fun.
Hamburguesa has been featured heavily on the events that are broadcast on the WWE YouTube, and giving the técnicos a win on the opener should help get the show started strong. So, I’m going with the técnicos for the win.
Winners: Niño Hamburguesa, Pimpinela Escarlata, Mascarita Sagrada, and Lady Shani
Fatal Four-Way for the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship
Lince Dorado vs Aerostar vs Jack Cartwheel vs Laredo Kid

It’s been fun seeing Dorado get another run. He was always a solid wrestler, and Lucha House Party deserved more than they got during their time in the WWE. Aerostar and Laredo Kid have both been featured regularly on the shows that have been cross-promoted with the WWE. And both are incredibly talented. And Jack Cartwheel is an ID talent who has been featured on Evolve recently.
Kid is on his second run and has been champion for 320 days. If he is going to lose here, I’m thinking it would be to Aerostar, as they have been hyping him up every show he is on. I expect Cartwheel (shout to a Supreme Pro Wrestling Alumni!) to get a chance to shine and show he belongs in championship matches going forward, but he isn’t quite there yet. I think, based on the opponents here, it makes the most sense for Kid to retain. I wouldn’t mind seeing JD McDonagh get a shot and maybe even win the title down the line. But tonight it’s another win for Laredo Kid.
Winner and still AAA World Cruiserweight Champion: Laredo Kid
Triple-Threat for the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship
Flammer vs Faby Apache vs Natalya

This is a rematch from Triplemanía XXXIII, where we saw a fast count and Flammer retaining the title.
Flammer has now held the title for 800 days, and I think it’s time for Faby Apache to break the tie for most reigns. Apache can hold the division down while they work to build up the roster around her.
This was supposed to be Nattie vs Flammer, but Apache was able to find her way into making this a rematch. If Apache wins, then Nattie can start a feud over Apache stealing her shot away from her.
This will be a solid feud that they can run through the rest of the year. While they build up Lola Vice for a future run.
Winner and new AAA Reina de Reinas Champion: Faby Apache
AAA Tag Team Championships
TBA vs. Pagano & Psycho Clown

This open challenge will most likely be answered by The Wyatt Sicks. They’ve been feuding with Psycho Clown & Pagano since Worlds Collide, and it would make the most sense for them to be the ones to show up tonight.
I don’t think they will win, but I do think this will be a brutal brawl. Setting it up to be different from everything else on the show. If it is Wyatt Sicks answering the challenge, then I expect there to be some interference. But Pagano & Psycho Clown should still pick up the win here. If the Wyatt Sicks are going to win the titles, it’ll be further down the road. I also think it would be fun to see a rematch on a WWE PLE. We have two Saturday Night’s Main Events and Survivor Series coming up. A winner-takes-all all match would fit in well with Survivor Series, I think.
Winner and still AAA Tag Team Champions: Pagano & Psycho Clown
AAA Mega Championship
Dragon Lee vs. Dominik Mysterio

I have enjoyed the way Dom’s stories from both AAA and WWE have been woven together. He has issues with most of the luchadores on Raw, and that carries over to his work in AAA.
With Lee and AJ Styles having just beaten Dom’s Judgement Day cohorts. It would give Dom a bragging point to be able to retain his Championship tonight. The slow burn for the eventual turn has been a lot of fun to watch. Dom getting closer to El Grande Americano has pushed a wedge between himself and The Judgement Day. Letting him go on about still being double champion, while no one else has a championship, will just push that further.
I’m happy to see Lee getting more chances on Raw. Being in the main event scene of AAA has probably helped to raise his stock. He has more than earned his shot here, but tonight isn’t his night. Dom will find a way to cheat to win, and if Judgement Day doesn’t turn on Monday, it will be soon, I’m sure.
Winner and still AAA Mega Champion: Dirty Dominik Mysterio
