Hello Folx, and welcome to 411’s NXT No Mercy 2025 Preview! NXT is at the Findlay Toyota Center in Prescott Valley, Arizona, for the 18th Halloween Havoc and 5th under the NXT branding.
We have five championship matches tonight, Ricky Saints will be defending his NXT Championship against Trick Williams, Tatum Paxley will be trying to win her first NXT Women’s Championship against Jacy Jayne, The Broken Hardys will be defending their NXT Tag Team Championships against DarkState, El Hijo de Doctor Wagner Jr will try and win the NXT North American Championship as he takes on Ethan Page, and Zaria will be filing in for Sol Ruca to defend the NXT Women’s North American Championship againse Blake Monroe. We have all that plus Je’Von Evans will team up with Leon Slater to take on Mr. Iguana and La Parka!

Slater would defend his TNA X-Division Championship on this week’s NXT. After the match, Evans and Slater would challenge anytime for Halloween Havoc, and Mr. Iguana and La Parka would answer the challenge.
I expect this match to be a fun match with a lot of high-flying action. Evans and Slater have been killing it this year, and I expect them to show up again tonight. Mr. Iguana is always a fun addition to any match, and he has shown he is more than just a comedy guy. The newest La Parka had a good showing at Triplemanía and I am excited to see how he does against Evans and Slater.
I don’t think Evans and Slater are losing tonight. Evans needs a win, and Slater is the current X Division champion. Like I said, the match is going to be a lot of fun, but the winners aren’t really in question.
Winners: Je’Von Evans & Leon Slater
Broken Rules match for the NXT Tag Team Championships
The Broken Hardys vs DarkState

The Hardys are pretty much on their last run. Once they wrap up with TNA, I can see a small WWE run before retirement and the Hall of Fame. With that said, I don’t expect to see them lose tonight. DarkState has gotten better over the last few months, but it would be disappointing to see Matt and Jeff lose their belts right back to them.
The Broken Rules will allow DarkState to still look strong in a loss and help hide the weaknesses of both teams. Most of Darkstate is still learning how to put it together in the ring, and Matt and Jeff are long past their prime. They are still capable of putting on good gimmick matches, though.
I am going with Matt and Jeff tonight, as both TNA and NXT work to find the teams to get the rub from beating them.
Winners and still NXT Tag Team Champions: The Broken Hardys
NXT Women’s North American Championship
Blake Monroe vs Zaria

After an injury on last week’s SmackDown, Ruca had to back out of the match. Zaria stood up to defend the title for her.
For those of you who remember, this is a bit of a callback to an old WCW storyline. Stevie Ray defended Booker T.’s Television Championship while Booker was out injured. In that story, Ray would end up losing the title, causing issues when Booker returned.
I think we will see the same thing play out here. Zaria will put up a solid effort, but Monroe will find a way to sneak out a pin to win the championship. Monroe needs the win more than Zaria. And this will allow more cracks to form between Ruca and Zaria while Monroe can go on a solid run before a call-up to SmackDown.
Winner and new NXT Women’s North American Champion: Blake Monroe
Day of the Dead match for the NXT North American Championship
El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr vs Ethan Page

Page and Wagner have been feuding since Worlds Collide, where Wagner would defend his Latin American Championship in a Fatal Four Way that also involved Page.
Page understands how to play the smarmy heel better than anyone going today. His association with Green over the summer showed that both of them need to be elevated further up the card. I don’t think Page is going to be around NXT much longer, as he can slide into the United States or Intercontinental Championship divisions easily.
Wagner has been getting a strong push in AAA, and this is his first exposure to the wider WWE audience. He has been doing well and showing what he can do. I think he is one of the top names that the WWE is looking at to bring over from AAA. With that said, I don’t think he is picking up the win here tonight.
The Day of the Dead gimmick allows Page to get a cheap win while keeping Wagner looking strong. It’s similar to Page vs Saints from earlier this year. Where Wagner can kick ass, but Page can find a way to sneak out a win. I can see Page losing the belt closer to January for a Rumble call-up, but not tonight.
Winner and still NXT North American Champion: Ethan Page
NXT Women’s Championship
Tatum Paxley vs Jacy Jane

At the NXT vs TNA Showdown, Paxley won a Battle Royal to become the Number One Contender for Jane’s NXT women’s Championship.
While I’d love to see Paxley get the win here, I don’t think it’s happening quite yet. Jane just added a new member to Fatal Influence. And while Paxley has The Culling behind her, there is a chance we see Izzi Dame turn on Paxley tonight.
I think Paxley’s time will be soon, though. She has improved a lot over the last four years, the fans are behind her, and she has the background to be a powerhouse in the division. Jane spent the summer proving she isn’t a fluke champion. I’m thinking, much like Page, we see her hold onto the title until December, and Jane will get the call-up for the Rumble. I also like the idea of Paxley being the one to beat her for the title. She will just have to overcome Fatal Influence and her former friend, Izzi Dame, first.
Winners and still NXT Women’s Champion: Jacy Jane
NXT Championship
Trick Williams vs Ricky Saints

At NXT vs TNA Showdown, Williams would walk out on Team NXT and captain Ricky Saints. This would lead to Saints challenging Williams to this match.
I feel like we are about to see both Femi and Williams get called up within the next month or so. Neither of them has anything left to do in NXT, and both are ready for the main roster. Let them get involved in The Vision storyline, or go to SmackDown to help fill out the roster there.
With that said, I think Saints is a clear winner tonight. Williams will leave NXT while putting over Saints as the current face of the men’s roster. Saints has more than earned his time as champion, and I don’t think he is going to lose it in his first major defense.
I think this will be a good match, even with a clear winner heading in. I hope NXT can build up a better roster of challengers for Saints, because he is a great wrestler to anchor the division. He just needs a better division around him.
