AAA Action Figures From Mattel Reportedly in the Works

WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select has some exciting news for action figure collectors and fans of Mattel’s WWE action figure line. According to the report, the Mattel WWE team has been given the go-ahead to start producing figures of the AAA stars for the AAA brand.

Additionally, it’s said that Mr. Iguana has been the talent first prioritized for a AAA-branded figure from Mattel. Mattel is reportedly targeting a fall release for the upcoming figures.

WWE announced the acquisition of Lucha Libre AAA just under a year ago. Now, the stars of AAA will receive high-quality action figures in a similar style to the top Superstars of WWE from Mattel.

Mattel has been WWE’s major toy partner since early 2010. The two entities renewed their global licensing partnership in April 2025 with a multi-year extension to their global licensing agreement. Mattel produces a wide range of WWE products, including action figures and accessories, playsets, roleplay items, vehicles, and vehicle accessories.
