Aaron Wolf Comments On In-Ring Debut, Title Win At NJPW Wrestle Kingdom

Aaron Wolf has a lot of gratitude after winning the NEVER Openweight Championship in his in-ring debut at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 20. The Olympic gold medalist defeated EVIL in his first-ever match, capturing the Openweight Championship in the process. Wolf’s debut was highly anticipated by NJPW fans, and he posted to his Twitter account after the show to reflect on his debut.

Wolf wrote:

“Today, I have finally become a professional wrestler.

All the support I received was truly motivating.

I will strive to live up to this belt every single day.”

Wolf will compete in his second match on Monday at NJPW New Year’s Dash. The new champion will team with Toru Yano, YOH & Master Wato vs. Ren Narita, EVIL, Don Fale & Dick Togo of House of Torture.

NJPW New Year’s Dash takes place at at Ota City General Gymnasium in Tokyo.
