Ace Steel took serious issue with Tony Khan comparing Jon Moxley and Harley Race, firing off on social media about it. As reported, Khan referred to Moxley as the Harley Race of AEW in an interview promoting WrestleDream. Specifically, Khan was asked who the Harley Race of AEW was and named Moxley, noting:

“He’s won the most championships, he’s traveled the world. He’s a hardened veteran, he’s from the Midwest, and he’s a straight shooter. And he’s a great person who’s respected by his peers, who takes no gruff and is so respected as a pro wrestling veteran.”

Steel was not pleased with that comparison, as is clear from his Instagram stories. Steel posted a headline about the quote that was titled “Tony Khan Names Jon Moxley as AEW’s Modern-Day Harley Race” and wrote:

“Count this as one [of] the dumbest and most blasphemous things I’ve ever read.. utter crap.. really infuriating, zero comparison.”

Ace Steel was part of the AEW crew until he was fired for his involvement in the infamous post-AEW All Out brawl. That brawl took place between CM Punk and members of the Elite following comments made by Punk during the post-show media scrum.
