Adam Pearce Drops Chris Jericho Reference While Previewing This Week’s WWE Raw

Adam Pearce decided to play with the rumors of Chris Jericho coming to WWE, dropping a Jericho reference into his preview of this week’s Raw. WWE released this week’s iteration of Pierce’s usual preview videos on Sunday, with the Raw GM hyping up Monday’s big show.

During the video, Pearce hyped the multiple title matches taking place on the episode by saying, “Do not forget, three humongous championship matches. Who can break down the walls and claim the gold?” “Break The Walls Down” is of course Jericho’s theme song from his WWE days.

The status of Chris Jericho has been a topic of several reports in the back half of 2025 going into 2026. Jericho’s AEW contract was reported as being up as of the end of 2025, and the most recent report said that people in WWE have been talking a lot about his potential return.

To be clear as usual, there is no confirmation that Jericho is WWE-bound. Pearce’s comment is the first by WWE making an overt reference to the rumors.

Monday’s show is the one-year anniversary of Raw on Netflix. It takes place at Barclays Center in New York City with the following card:

* World Heavyweight Championship Match: CM Punk vs. Bron Breakker.
* WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship Match: Maxxine Dupri vs. Becky Lynch.
* WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: Kabuki Warriors vs. Rhea Ripley & IYO SKY.
* Liv Morgan vs. Lyra Valkyria.
