AEW & Adult Swim Are Working Together On New Animated Series

AEW is joining forces with Adult Swim for a new animated series from former WWE writer Nic Collins. Collins posted on LinkedIn earlier this week to announce that he is working the new animated series for the companies. Collins wrote:

“Excited to share that I’m writing and producing a new animated project with Adult Swim x All Elite Wrestling.

Details on the project are not known at this time. AEW and Adult Swim have worked together several times in the past. They previously teamed up for a “Battle of the Booty” event at San Diego Comic-Con 2024, and when Rick & Morty sponsored an episode of Dynamite back in November of 2019. Adult Swim is part of Cartoon Network, which is itself owned by AEW’s broadcast partner in Warner Bros. Discovery.

Nic Collins is a former WWE writer, having worked for the company from April to September of 2025 in the creative team. Collins co-developed and served as the creative producer on The Undertaker’s Six Feet Under podcast, and was also a writer on the animated Thoron the Conqueror show on Adult Swim. He also directed and voiced various roles on that show.

There’s no word as of yet when the series may premiere or who will be involved.
