AEW Collision Sees Slight Upticks in Ratings & Viewership, Battle of Belts VIII Draws Second Lowest Viewership Ever

– Wrestlenomics has the Saturday night television numbers for last weekend’s edition of AEW Collision, which was held in Memphis, Tennessee. Last Saturday’s show aired back-to-back with AEW Battle of the Belts VIII, and both shows were live on TNT.
The Saturday night broadcast of Collision averaged 518,000 viewership. Viewership was slightly up this week, rising from 504,000 viewers the previous weekend. ‘
In the P18-49 key ratings demo. AEW Collision averaged a 0.16 rating. The rating was up slightly from last week’s show, which drew a 0.14 rating in the key demo.
However, it was a different story for the latest edition of Battle of the Belts VIII, which aired at 10:00 pm EST right after Collision. Per Sports TV Ratings, the live TNT broadcast averaged 397,000 viewers. This is lower than the 524,000 viewers for Battle of the Belts VII, which aired on TNT last July.
This marks the second-lowest viewership ever for Battle of the Belts, behind only Battle of the Belts III, which averaged 437,000 viewers.
The key demo rating for Battle of the Belts VIII was also down, drawing a 0.13 rating. This is down from the 0.15 rating for the previous Battle of the Belts.
AEW’s main competition on Saturday was the NFL game coverage and MLB Playoffs.
