AEW Dynamite Homecoming Ratings Tick Up, Audience Over 1.1 Million
– Wrestlenomics’ Brandon Thurston has the overnight ratings for last night’s AEW Dynamite Homecoming show. This week’s edition of Dynamite marked AEW’s return to Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida after a recent multi-city tour. Last night’s show finished with 1.102 million viewers. That’s slightly down by 1% from the 1.108 million viewers for last week’s show.
Elsewhere, ratings continued to inch up in the key P18-49 demographic. Last night’s live TNT broadcast drew a 0.46 rating (593,000 viewers) in the key demo. That’s slight increase from the rating for last week’s show, which drew a 0.45 rating in the same key demo. This also marks the fourth consecutive week of growth in the key demo for AEW.
Last night’s AEW Dynamite Homecoming show was headlined by Malakai Black making his AEW in-ring debut against Cody Rhodes, defeating him soundly. After the match, it appeared that Cody Rhodes was about to retire from wrestling, but he was then assaulted by Black yet again.
AEW Dynamite last night on TNT was watched by 1,102,000 viewers on average. 593,000 viewers were aged 18-49 (about a 0.46 rating).
