– Wrestlenomics’ Brandon Thurston has the numbers for last night’s edition of AEW Dynamite. This week, overall viewership was back up over a million after last week’s audience fell just short of the one million mark. Meanwhile, ratings in the key demo were also on the rise for last night’s live TBS broadcast.

Last night’s live broadcast drew an average audience of 1.046 million viewers. That’s up from last week’s audience, which drew 993,000 viewers. Dynamite has been falling short of the average one million viewer mark in recent weeks, but the show finally managed to cross that goal this week.

Ratings were also up this week in the P18-49 key demo. Dynamite drew an average 0.41 rating. That’s up from last week’s 0.38 rating in the same key demo. This is also the highest viewing audience and key demo ratings for AEW Dynamite since February 9.

Per Showbuzz Daily, Dynamite ranked No. 3 in the Cable Top 150 for Wednesday. The show moved up from its No. 6 slot for last week. AEW was only topped by two NBA games that aired on ESPN.

Last night’s show saw the return of CM Punk, who was not on last week’s Dynamite. Punk opened the show with a one-on-one match with Dax Harwood, that was uninterrupted by commercial breaks. In the main event, The Dark Order faced Chris Jericho and Daniel Garcia. The Hardys (Matt and Jeff Hardy) were also in action, teaming with Sting and Darby Allin against the team of Private Party, The Butcher, and The Blade, representing the Andrade Family Office.

The NBA game between the Philadelphia 76ers and the LA Lakers on ESPN topped the ratings for Wednesday with a 0.52 in the key demo. Tucker Carlson Tonight on FOX News topped Wednesday viewership with 3.702 million viewers.
