AEW Dynamite Numbers Rise This Week, Tops Wednesday Ratings
– Showbuzz Daily has the numbers in for last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite. Last night’s show was the go-home episode before Sunday’s joint AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view event. Numbers were up overall compared to last week. While Dynamite’s audience was still below 900,000 viewers, the show led Wednesday for cable original programming.
Last night’s AEW Dynamite had an average audience of 878,000 viewers. Viewership increased over 110,000 viewers after last week’s audience fell to 761,000 viewers, which was the lowest viewership for AEW in over a year.
Ratings were also up in the P18-49 key ratings demo. Dynamite finished with a 0.31 rating, topping the key demo for cable originals for Wednesday. Including broadcast primetime TV ratings, Dynamite ranked No. 11 (h/t Wrestlenomics’ Brandon Thurston). The rating increased from last week’s average 0.28 number in the key demo.
The Five on FNC topped viewership for cable originals last night with 3.159 million viewers. While Dynamite and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills finished with identical ratings in the demo, Dynamite was ranked No. 1 because the show likely finished slightly ahead in overall key demo viewership.

Dynamite essentially tied with but is listed above Real Housewives on Bravo, which also had a 0.31 P18-49 rating, meaning it probably had a slight edge with viewers in the demo.
