AEW Dynamite saw its ratings & audience rebound without the FIFA World Cup to go against, with the viewership hitting a two-year high point. Wednesday’s Beach Break show brought in a 0.12 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic and 773,000 viewers per Programming Insider. As always, these numbers do not include HBO Max viewing.
Those numbers are up 33.3% and 21.9% respectively from the previous week’s 0.09 demo rating and 634,000 viewers. The demo rating was the best since the June 17th episode also scored a 0.12, while the total viewership was the best since the July 24th, 2024 episode had 786,000.
The lack of FIFA was a big factor, with the night being won by Celebrity Wheel of Fortune on ABC at a 0.25 demo rating and 2.881 million viewers. By comparison, last Wednesday’s World Cup game did a 8.50 demo rating and 28.997 million viewers, plus an additional 9.8 million viewers on Telemundo.
As a reminder, Nielsen made an adjustment to its Big Data + Panel numbers in late January, and even the original Big Data + Panel ratings make things difficult to compare to pre-change weeks. That said. AEW Dynamite is currently averaging a 0.110 demo rating and 637,000 viewers in 2026 compared to a 0.167 and 622,000 for the same time period in 2025.
