Ahead of Will Ospreay’s huge title match at AEW All In London next weekend, AEW released the second episode of the Will Ospreay docuseries, Rebuild & Destroy, showcasing Ospreay recovering from his neck surgery and prepping for his in-ring return earlier this year.
Per the episode’s official description: “In Episode 2 of this 7-episode series, follow AEW Star Will Ospreay on his journey from double fusion neck surgery to winning the 2026 Owen Hart Cup and earning his spot in the main event at AEW All In: London, challenging Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship, featuring Ospreay learning how his surgery went and reflecting on what wrestling means to him.”
During the episode, Ospreay spoke candidly about his fears of coming back at 50% the level he previously worked. He explained, “I am generally scared of, like coming back and being even 50% of what I once was. It took 8 years of being in Japan to find that confidence. I’ve kind of lost a lot of it because I don’t know what I’m going to look like when I get back in the ring.”
The wrestler continued, “As long as at the end of it, I’m still a decent dad, a decent lover, and just a decent human being. That’s the main things. But just the thing that gets me up and the thing that makes me happy to be alive and happy to do what I’m doing is knowing that I can [snorts] I can wrestle again. I think that’s the thing that I want most out of all of this. I just want to be able to I just want to be able to do what I love doing again.”
