Backstage Update on TNA Contract Status of AJ Francis

A new report has shed light on the contract status of TNA’s AJ Francis.

According to Fightful Select, Francis’ contract is slated to expire toward the end of this year. However, the report noted that AJ intends to remain with the promotion, and TNA is also interested in retaining him. A deal is expected to be finalized soon.

AJ Francis debuted in TNA Wrestling at Hard to Kill in January 2024. He captured his first title in the company, the TNA Digital Media Championship, later that year. In June 2024, Francis revived the long-retired Canadian International Heavyweight Championship. He re-signed with the promotion earlier this year.

AJ most recently teamed up with Expressions and took on The Hardys in a losing cause.
