AJ Lee Reveals She’ll Be On Next Season of WWE Unreal

AJ Lee hasn’t been seen on WWE television since losing the Women’s Intercontinental Championship to Becky Lynch at WrestleMania, and recent reports suggest that we won’t be seeing her anytime soon. AJ has taken periods of time away from WWE since returning to the company in September 2025, and we also haven’t seen her husband CM Punk on WWE television since the night after WrestleMania.

AJ Lee recently did an interview with Maurice Bernard that covered much of her career with WWE, and she let us know at least one place where we’ll be seeing her on WWE television in the upcoming months. AJ will be appearing on the next season of WWE Unreal.

On What She’s Up To Now:

“I spent the last 10 months, eight months on Raw on Netflix. I’m going to be doing Unreal, the documentary series for WWE, also on Netflix, and then I’m still writing and producing. I have a production company called Scrappy Heart Productions and our goal is to just make underdogs the stars of their own stories. And we’re right now producing our first feature film and the short film version of it went to Tribeca last year and did a film festival circuit and did it really well. So we’re making the feature length version of that and we have a bunch of other projects in the works that we love and we’re so passionate about.”

The next season of WWE Unreal’s premiere date has yet to be announced, but it will also feature the final run of John Cena in addition to AJ’s return.
