Noam Dar has been out of the ring since June due to injury, but Aleah James says his recovery is going well. Dar suffered the injury over the summer and had to relinquish the Heritage Cup as a result. There hasn’t been an update on him since.
James, who is Dar’s partner, appeared on the A2theK Wrestling Show for an interview. She was asked about Dar’s status, being Isla Dawn’s first post-WWE match and more. You can see highlights below:
On Being Isla Dawn’s First Post-WWE Match:
“Yeah, that was really cool. She’s my friend in real life, so it’s just nice to have those moments with your friends. And also, we met in NXT UK and that’s the first time I ever wrestled her. I think I wrestled her twice there. And to then be able to wrestle each other on the indies is so cool, because we’ve evolved so much since then.
“I barely knew anything about wrestling at that time, and I’d barely had any matches. So to be able to have that moment with her years later in the UK, and just being able to have fun — that was that was a cool moment for both of us. So yeah, I always remember that moment.”
On Noam Dar’s Status:
“Yeah, it’s going along really well. [He’s] getting stronger and being able to do more and more. So it’s just looking for that return. We’re ready, we’re waiting. He’s gonna be better and stronger than ever. So, we’re looking forward to that.”
