Alex Wright Would be Open to a Potential WWE Royal Rumble Appearance
– During a recent interview with the Cheap Heat Productions Podcast, former WCW wrestler Alex Wright discussed being open to a potential WWE Royal Rumble appearance, retirement match scenarios, and more. Below are some highlights (via Fightful):
Alex Wright on if he’d be interested in a WWE Royal Rumble appearance: Yeah, of course. Of course, why not? I can still go. I’m still young.”
On if he has a scenario for a potential retirement match: “There are a few scenarios. In general, just stepping back in the ring, especially in the States. I had such good memories over there, that would be something special anyway for me. In Europe and stuff like that, I still love wrestling. Wrestling is in my blood, that’s why I never retired. I’m still at that age where I could go in the ring and perform. I don’t want to put out any scenarios now.”
