Alexa Bliss Provides Update on Her Injured Arm

Former WWE Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss recently provided an update on her injured arm and return timeline.
On the July 10 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Bliss went one-on-one with Jade Cargill. A distraction from B-Fab paved the way for Cargill to hit the Pump Kick and flatten Bliss with Jaded for the victory. After the match, Michin handed a steel chair to Jade to inflict further damage on Bliss. Charlotte tried to come to her friend’s rescue, but B-Fab and Michin neutralized her. She was forced to watch on as Jade put the chair on Alexa’s left arm and smashed it on the mat, bending her elbow in the process.
Bliss incurred some nasty bruises and has been sporting a brace. She recently appeared on ESPN Vibe Check and provided an update on her arm’s current state and return timeline.
Here’s what she said:
“Jade got me. She bent my elbow backward with a chair, which is fine because I have bendy elbows, but it went a little too far, and when she slammed the chair, I think there is a bone chip, and this ligament is a little overstretched. It’s sore, but it’s more of an inconvenience with how bulky [the brace] is. It’s keeping things in place; it’s healing fast, and I’m hoping it’s just a couple of weeks and we’re good.”
