As previously reported, Tommaso Ciampa beat Andrade El Idolo on last night’s AEW Collision to capture the AEW National Championship. Earlier today, Andrade El Idolo commented on his defeat and title loss via social media.
Andrade is not deterred by the loss. In fact, he claims he plans to win every AEW title and become “the new collector.” He wrote, “I have 23 years of professional wrestler I made my debut on October 18, 2003 ( I was 13 years old). There have always been both good times and bad, but the end of 2025 and this 2026, the fans have supported me; they believed in me when I needed them most.”
Andrade continued, “I will not let them down. Having already won championships in different countries and now. It is time for me to win every AEW championship; I will be the new collector. Your family knows that you stole from me!”
It appears Andrade wants to follow in Kenny Omega’s footsteps by becoming the new Bet Collector. Andrade does possess a contract guaranteeing him a shot at the AEW World Title. He earned the contract by winning the Casino Gauntlet match at All In London last August.
Under the contract’s rules, Andrade must provide at least one week of advance notice before cashing in his guaranteed title shot.
