Beyond Wrestling has announced AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman’s (MJF) replacement for its upcoming event.
As previously reported, MJF suffered a knee injury during his successful defense of his AEW World Championship against RUSH this past Wednesday night on Dynamite.
Friedman was scheduled to take on Bobby Orlando at Beyond Wrestling’s Break The Walls Down event on Friday, June 6.
With him being injured, Beyond Wrestling announced earlier today that Andrade El Idolo would replace MJF as Bobby Orlando’s opponent. This will be Andrade’s maiden outing for the indie promotion.
AEW’s Lio Rush, Wheeler Yuta, and TNA’s Bear Bronson are also slated to compete at the event.
