Asuka is set to be the police chief for Osaka City in Japan for a day as she continues her hiatus from WWE. The former multi-time champion in WWE posted to Twitter on Wednesday night to reveal that she will swerve as the single-day chief of a police station in the city on November 27th.
Asuka wrote (translation per Google):
“On Friday, November 27, I will be serving as the one-day station chief at the Ooyodo Police Station in Kita Ward, Osaka City.
On the day, in addition to giving away police goods signed by me, I will also sign any goods you bring with you.
If you’d like to participate, please leave a comment on this post!
Venue: Kita Ward Citizens’ Hall, Osaka City
Start time: Morning (details to be announced later)”
Asuka has been away from WWE since May, with her last appearance to date coming on the May 11th episode of WWE Raw where she had a moment with IYO SKY after losing to her at WWE Backlash. She said in a vlog later that month, “There’s a chance I might just pop up in front of you when you least expect it.” She also confirmed earlier this month that she has not left WWE.
