Austin Creed Admits Getting Emotional on Being Introduced Under His Original In-Ring Name at AEW All In 2026

Austin Creed opens up about being announced under his original wrestling name at AEW All In: London.

As noted, Kofi and Austin made their AEW debut as ‘The New Level’ at All In 2026 this past weekend. The duo teamed up with Swerve Strickland and went on to capture the AEW World Trios Championship at the event.

During a recent appearance on TMZ’s Inside the Ring, Austin admitted getting emotional while rewatching his entrance at Wembley Stadium. Creed admitted he didn’t initially notice that he was announced as ‘Awesome’ Austin Creed, his original in-ring name, and it was only after he went back and rewatched it that he did.

Here’s what Austin Creed said:

“Kofi, I haven’t talked to you about this, but there weren’t tears in my eyes during the entrance, but when I went back and watched it the next morning. I couldn’t hear while we were out there. It was too hype. We were too on, but they actually announced me as ‘Awesome’ Austin Creed, and that’s my original wrestling name.

“And so to hear that in that arena… Bro, I was talking about it yesterday. I watched it again, and it was my old tag team partner who’s actually married to Lilian Garcia. I texted him or he texted me, and he was like, ‘Man, that’s pretty cool!’ I lost it again.’ It’s just one of those things where that moment has so much attached to it, and the biggest one being that every single time we have believed in ourselves, every single time that we have bet on ourselves, it’s worked out. We’ve made the right choices throughout wrestling.”
