Ava Announces Match For Vacant NXT Title For February 3rd Episode of WWE NXT

Ava revealed plans to determine a new NXT Champion on this week’s episode of NXT, announcing a title match for three weeks from now. Tuesday night’s episode of WWE NXT opened with Ava appearing in the ring to announce the future of the NXT Championship after Oba Femi vacated it at the end of last week’s show.

Ava was in the ring with the men’s roster around the ring to start the show. She noted that the men’s division is “wide open” now and she can’t wait to see how steps up. Ava noted there’s no better moment than right now before Ricky Saints showed up. Saints said he ran Je’Von Evans, Trick Williams, and Oba Femi right out of NXT and that Femi left because he was afraid of a rematch. Saints said he was then, now and forever and that there were a lot of talent in NXT’s men’s roster. However, they were the future and all eyes were on him.

Saints assumed he was being given the NXT Championship and Ava shut him down, saying that he deserves an opportunity just like everyone else who said the same thing to her. She then announced that on February 3rd there will be a six-man ladder match for the title. Ava noted qualifying matches begin next week. AVa left the ring and a brawl quickly broke out among the men’s roster.
