The Babes Of Wrath have captured gold, becoming the inaugural AEW Women’s Tag Team Champions at AEW Dynamite: Winter Is Coming. Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron won the titles on Wednesday night’s themed show. The two defeated the Timeless Love Bombs to capture the titles.

The match was the finals of the tournament to crown the first-ever champions. The finish came when Cameron hit her Finishing Move on Shirakawa, followed by the Doctor Bomb from Nightingale for the win and championships. The two teams embraced after the match.

The AEW Women’s Tag Team Championships were unveiled in late September. An eight-team tournament followed. The Babes of Wrath beat Athena & Mercedes Mone, then the Sisters of Sin. Meanwhile, the Timeless Love Bombs beat Alex Windsor & Riho in the quarterfinals. They then beat Marina Shafir & Megan Bayne in the semifinals, with the bout being a Hardcore Holiday Deathmatch.

This marks Cameron’s first title reign in AEW. Nightingale is a former AEW TBS Champion. You can see highlights from the match below:
