Babes Of Wrath Advance In Women’s Tag Title Tournament On AEW Dynamite

The Babes Of Wrath upset Athena and Mercedes Mone to move on in the Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament On AEW Dynamite. Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale defeated Mone and Athena on Wednesday’s show in a first-round tournament match.

The finish saw Billie Starkz come down to try and interfere, but Kris Statlander attacked Starks. During the chaose, Nightingale hit AThena with the Doctor Bomb. Cameron then hit her finisher for the upset pinfall. You can see some highlights below.

The Babes of Wrath now move on to the semifinals. They will face the Sisters of Sin, who defeated Queen Aminata and Jamie Hayter on last week’s AEW Dynamite. The updated brackets for the tournament are:

Round One:

* Alex Windsor & Riho vs. Toni Storm & Mina Shirakawa
* Anna Jay & Tay Melo vs. Megan Bayne & Penelope Ford

Semifinals:

* Sisters Of Sin vs. Babes Of Wrath
