Backstage Note On WWE Plans For Street Profits

It’s been a little while since the Street Profits have been part of WWE storylines, but that could be changing in the relatively near future according to a new report. Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford have been off of TV since October, with their most recent TV match being on the October 24th episode of WWE Main Event. They worked a few matches during an NXT tour in late January, but were not part of the European tour and have not appeared on TV.

According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, there has been discussions about the team from a creative standpoint and a return could be forthcoming. The report notes that according to sources, a return to TV could happen soon although there’s no word on whether that will be before or after WrestleMania 42.

It was reported in late January that the team was not injured, and that they were being kept off of television “to allow them to freshen up.” They had a run last year as WWE Tag Team Champions that lasted 119 days. They won the titles on March 14th and held them until July 11th, when they lost the titles to Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis of the Wyatt Sicks.
