Backstage Note on WWE Royal Rumble 2027 Date

As previously reported, WWE announced that next year’s Royal Rumble 2027 will take place at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. However, a specific date was not revealed for the premium live event. In the latest Fightful Select Answers Q&A, Sean Ross Sapp answered a fan question regarding when the Rumble 2027 will take place.

Sapp reported that the premium live event will “almost certainly” take place during the week between the NFL Conference Championship and the Super Bowl, as WWE will not want to compete with either game, wanting the focus to be on just the Royal Rumble.

WWE Royal Rumble 2027 is part of a multi-year partnership between parent company TKO, the Arizona Sports & Events Alliance, and Legends Global. State Farm Stadium will reportedly have a capacity of around 58,000 people for the show. WWE has not yet announced the date for when the PLE will take place..
