A new report has emerged on WWE possibly working with softball player Zoe Hines in the future.
In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, veteran journalist Dave Meltzer claimed that he has heard from multiple places that WWE may feel “pressure” to do something with the Boston College softball player, should she express her interest in pursuing pro wrestling, presumably due to her connection to RFK Jr.
Hines was involved in a WWE tryout this summer. Zoe is the niece of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s wife, Cheryl Hines. The wrestling insider also reported that Cheryl Hines was present backstage at the Clash in Paris Premium Live Event.
In recent years, WWE has opened its arms to several performers from non-wrestling backgrounds. Recently, country music star Jelly Roll made his in-ring debut. He joined forces with Randy Orton to take on Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul in a tag team match at SummerSlam. Two years ago, Bad Bunny battled Damian Priest in a hugely acclaimed San Juan Street Fight. It will be interesting to see if Zoe Hines makes her way to World Wrestling Entertainment in the future.
