Backstage Notes on If WWE Has Ever Considered a Main Roster Call-Up for Andre Chase

In the latest Fightful Select Answers Q&A, Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp was asked about WWE NXT Superstar and former NXT Tag Team Champion Andre Chase of Chase University, and if Chase is simply “doomed” to be part of NXT forever. Chase has been a part of NXT since 2021, debuting the Chase University gimmick later that year.

Per Sapp, he’s not heard of any plans for Andre Chase to ever get a main WWE roster call-up. However, it’s noted that Chase’s experience is “valued” by NXT officials. Sapp added that if WWE has ever made plans to potentially call up Chase, he’s not heard about them.

Chase has held the NXT Tag Team Titles on two separate occasions in the developmental brand with Duke Hudson and Ridge Holland. After the group was dissolved, Chase reformed Chase University last year with some new students.
