– Fightful Select has several backstage notes from last night’s episode of WWE NXT, including how WWE is handling negative chants about the Rock. There is currently no mandate on how to deal with any negative reactions, and it’s being handled depending on the situation. For example, chants were muted during Ava Raine’s segment last night.
– The upcoming double taping is due to WWE heading to Perth for Elimination Chamber later this month. Several key people from production would be unavailable for a live episode. Some talent is also going over.
– Byron Saxton will be Booker T’s replacement until he returns. There has been no talks of CM Punk joining commentary and he’s not expected to be at the Performance Center over the next few weeks. The comments that Ace Steel recenty made were his suggestion and not reflective of anything WWE is planning.
– Fans at the PC were told not to curse or throw up middle fingers during Carmelo Hayes’ segment. He was originally set to use the chair he used at Vengeance Day, but it didn’t arrive on time.
– Jay Malachi, who goes by Je’Von Evans now, impressed officials.
