Backstage Rumor on New Ring Name for Piper Niven

– The EVALution officially kicked off last night on WWE Raw. As previously reported, Piper Niven made her Raw debut last night alongside returning WWE Superstar Eva Marie. However, Niven was not named during the show, and the announcers didn’t appear to know who she was, suggesting that she would be getting a new ring name. According to a report by Fightful Select, one of the new ring names that was pitched for her was “Doudrop,” or “Dew Drop.”

The Fightful report also noted that as of the weekend, the plan would be to pair Niven and Marie, but it was changed before later being reinstated before Raw. Niven also reportedly was at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida ahead of her Raw debut.

Following the match on Raw, Eva Marie did tweet about the match and Niven’s debut. She wrote, “Allow me to introduce my protege @viperpiperniven – @WWE @WWEonFOX @USA_Network #EVALution #WWERaw #ALLEverything.” WWE has not yet confirmed if they will be using Piper Niven as her ring name moving forward or something else.

During Raw, Niven beat Naomi, and Eva Marie declared herself the winner despite not competing.
