Baron Corbin Listed As ‘Out Indefinitely’ Due to Cody Rhodes’ Punt On Last Week’s WWE Smackdown

Baron Corbin is on the shelf for now, as he was described as “out indefinitely” on this week’s WWE Smackdown. On Friday night’s show, Michael Cole announced that Corbin was out for an indefinite period as a result of being punted by Cody Rhodes on last week’s show.

Corbin was taken down by a punt kick from Rhodes after their match on last week’s WWE Smackdown. Randy Orton interfered in the match to cause a DQ and when Rhodes took Orton down, he set up to use Orton’s infamous kick against him. Corbin then attacked Rhodes and Orton bailed, leading to Rhodes kicking Corbin in the head.

No word on when Baron Corbin might be back on TV. He made his return to WWE back in July and won the WWE United States Championship from Trick Williams at WWE SummerSlam, but lost it back at Sunday Night’s Main Event
