Baron Corbin Returns On WWE Smackdown, Attacks Trick Williams & Carmelo Hayes

Baron Corbin is back in WWE, attacking both Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes in his return on this week’s WWE Smackdown. Friday night’s show saw the former WWE United States Champion make his return after over a month of speculation during the non-title match between Williams and Hayes.

The match, which was set up after Hayes called for a title shot on last week’s show, went about 10 and a half minutes. Hayes, who was dealing with Lil Yachty as well as Williams, caught the current US Champion with a First 48. He went up top for his finisher but Corbin came out and caused the DQ. Corbin then attacked both Hayes and Williams after the match. You can see clips below.

Corbin was reported as being expected to return back in May. A trademark was filed for his nickname “The Nomad” by WWE on Friday.

Baron Corbin exited WWE in November of 2024 when his contract expired, and worked in the independents as Bishop Dyer.
