Baron Corbin Warns Trick Williams: ‘We’re Far From Finished’

WWE released a new digital exclusive video for last night’s SmackDown featuring former United States Champion Baron Corbin. Corbin warned his rival, reigning US Champion Trick Williams, that they are “far from finished.”

Corbin said on Williams, “Trick Williams. I don’t know if you heard me last week with all that crime you were doing, but we’re far from finished. At Sunday Night Main Event, you didn’t earn that title shot. Your boy Yachty did. For that, he got the ass-whipping he deserved in Mexico. Then, I dropped your ass just for fun.”

He also commented on Williams winning his Money in the Bank qualifier during last night’s show. He continued, “Now I’m here in Corpus Christi, Texas, hoping you won a fight. And I was right, just not with me. You ran and hid in that Money in the Bank qualifier match, and you won. Congratulations. But understand something, Trick. You can run all you want, but all roads lead to me.”

It appears that Baron Corbin will be looking for a rematch against Williams for the United States Title at some point down the line. Williams is currently scheduled to compete in the men’s Money in the Bank match at next month’s premium live event. He will be facing off against Bron Breakker, Je’Von Evans, and three other competitors yet to be determined.

WWE Money in the Bank 2026 takes place on Saturday, October 10 at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. It will air live on the ESPN App in the U.S. and on Netflix internationally.
