Update on WWE Contract Status of Bayley

An update on the contract status of former WWE Women’s Champion Bayley.

In the latest edition of Fightful Select’s Q&A Session, a fan asked Sean Ross Sapp about which big name he thinks can hit the open market. While Sapp feels that Bayley won’t hit the open market, he believes that since the former Women’s Champion’s contract is set to expire next year, several companies are likely to show their interest in acquiring her services.

However, he added that WWE would be interested in retaining the Role Model’s services. According to Sapp, Bayley should leverage the situation and secure a big contract with a no-cut clause.

Bayley has been a constant on WWE and AAA TV this year, with her performing on the main roster, at NXT live events, and in Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide. On this week’s RAW, she suffered a betrayal at the hands of her now-former tag team partner, Lyra Valkyria, following their defeat in the Women’s Tag Team Championship match.
