Becky Lynch vs. Sol Ruca Rematch for WWE Women’s Intercontinental Title Set for Clash in Italy

To the victor go the spoils. As noted, during tonight’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, Becky Lynch got herself disqualified for her non-title match against Sol Ruca at the event.

Lynch didn’t even wait for the bell to ring, hitting Ruca with her title belt and laying out her opponent. Lynch later appeared in a segment with SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis, who revealed that he just got off the phone with Raw GM Adam Pearce.

Aldis then said that Pearce told him to inform Lynch that, as a result of her actions tonight, she’ll be defending her title against Sol Ruca next weekend at WWE Clash in Italy 2026. Now, Ruca officially gets a shot at the title and some payback against Lynch. You can view a clip of the segment announcing the matchup below.

WWE Clash in Italy is scheduled for Sunday, May 31 at Inalpi Arena in Turin, Italy. The show airs live on the ESPN App in the US and on Netflix internationally. The first hour of the show will also air on ESPN. Here’s the updated lineup:

* Undisputed WWE Championship Match: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Gunther
* World Heavyweight Championship Tribal Combat: Roman Reigns (C) vs. Jacob Fatu
* WWE Women’s Championship Match: Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Jade Cargill
* WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship Match: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Sol Ruca
* Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi
