Additional details have emerged about the passing of Benjamin Satterley, i.e., AEW’s PAC.
As noted, PAC sadly passed away at the age of 40 on Sunday, September 27. A subsequent report from The Daily Herald revealed that Satterley was found “slumped over” in his rental car outside the Des Plaines CAVA restaurant, which is a short distance from O’Hare International Airport. No indications of foul play or trauma were reported in the initial incident report.
In the latest incident report written by a member of the Des Plaines Police Department on Monday (obtained by California Post and accessed by The New York Post), the officials made a couple of observations after they discovered Satterley.
According to the report, PAC allegedly had saliva on the front of his shirt and medication in his car. This type of medication was redacted in the initial incident report. However, Ben’s phone apparently did provide the investigating officers clues on where the AEW wrestler was headed before his tragic death. The officer noted that Google Maps was still open on his phone and “it was routing him to O’Hare airport.”
The official further reported that Satterley’s phone had been buzzing, and when it was answered, a woman on the other side revealed that she last spoke to the English pro wrestler on the phone at around 1:20 p.m., and he informed her that he was headed to CAVA for lunch. She also revealed that Benjamin’s flight had been delayed and he was slated to fly back to the UK at around 3:30 p.m.
“She last spoke to Benjamin on the phone around 1320 hours, and he related he was going to CAVA for lunch,” according to the police report. “He had been traveling for his occupation as a professional wrestler for the past three weeks around the United States and had been in the Chicago area since Thursday (09/24/2026) or Friday (09/25/2026). She related his flight had been delayed, and Benjamin was scheduled on his flight back to the UK at approximately 1530 hours.”
The official cause of death is pending further tests following an initial autopsy, per a Cook County Medical Examiner’s office spokesperson. 411Mania will provide further updates on the case as and when they are available.
