Pro Wrestling Illustrated has announced that Bianca Belair has topped the PWI Women’s 150 list overcoming various stars in AEW and Japan. This is the first time that Bianca has ranked at #1 and it’s also the first time she’s made the top 10. The full top five can be seen below. It should be noted that no one from last year’s top five. (Bayley, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, Asuka, Charlotte Flair) made the top five this time around. This is also the first year the list was extended to 150, after expanding to 100 from 50 back in 2018.

The top five includes

1. Bianca Belair
2. Utami Hayashishita
3. Deonna Purrazzo
4. Britt Baker
5. Thunder Rosa

The list focuses on in-ring success with the evaluation period taking place from October 1, 2020 to September 30, 2021. It grades wrestlers based on In-Ring Achievement (championships, tournaments, win-loss record), Influence (in one’s home promotion and the industry at large), Technical Ability, Breadth and Quality of Competition and finally, Activity. The full issue will be released in January, and can be pre-ordered here.

As noted last month, Kenny Omega topped the PWI Men’s 500 for the second time in his career.
