Big Bill’s time in AEW is coming to an end, and he is said to be heading to WWE according to a new report. It was reported back in May that Bill’s AEW contract was set to expire soon. Fightful Select reports that Bill’s deal is coming to an end over the next week and he gave his notice that he plans to exit the company.

The report goes on to note that Big Bill is set to make his return to WWE, where he became a known property as Big Cass. The report confirms another report from late May that WWE is interested in bringing back both Bill and Enzo Amore.

Amore was not officially signed to a deal as of midway through June, and sources in WWE said that the company wanted to wait until Bill was clear of his AEW deal so they could sign both stars. The plan has been in the works for a good while.

Bill signed with AEW in August of 2022 and was part of Chris Jericho’s Learning Tree stable. Before that, he and Ricky Starks had a run with the AEW World Tag Team Championships. Following the Learning Tree’s dissolution, he continued teaming with Bryan Keith as a mercenary-style team known as “Paid In Full.” His last match in AEW/ROH was on the April 6th, 2026 episode of ROH On HonorClub where he and Keith picked up a squash win over Nick Halen & Vin Parker.

No word as of yet on when the two may debut on WWE TV, nor on what brand.
